  • Roasting profiles and techniques, including heat transfer and airflow control

  • Coffee sourcing and green bean selection, including origin countries and fair trade practices

  • Quality control and cupping, including sensory evaluation and defect identification

  • Packaging and labeling, including bag types and labeling regulations

  • Marketing and branding, including social media and email marketing strategies

  • Financial management and budgeting, including forecasting and cash flow analysis

  • Regulatory compliance and certifications, including organic and fair trade certifications

  • Staff hiring, training, and management, including job descriptions and performance evaluations
