The Barista Course and Certification program provides comprehensive training for aspiring baristas, covering everything from coffee brewing and equipment handling to latte art and customer service. You'll learn how to create the perfect cup of coffee every time and gain the skills you need to succeed in the industry. If you're new to the industry, the Beginner level is the perfect place to start. You'll learn the basics of coffee brewing and equipment handling, and gain the skills you need to create a variety of popular coffee drinks. You'll also learn about customer service and the art of making latte art. The Intermediate level is designed for baristas with some experience who want to take their skills to the next level. You'll learn about advanced coffee brewing techniques, latte art, and customer service. You'll also have the opportunity to practice your skills in a real-world setting and get feedback from industry experts. The Professional level is designed for experienced baristas who want to become leaders in the industry. You'll learn about advanced latte art techniques, coffee tasting and pairing, and customer experience management. You'll also have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and gain insights from their experiences. Upon completing each level, you'll receive a certification that recognizes your knowledge and skills in coffee brewing, latte art, and customer service. These certifications are recognized globally and can help open doors to new career opportunities.

The certification program includes:

Level 1: Beginner

Program:

  • Introduction to the world of coffee: history, origin, and species

  • Basic coffee brewing techniques: Espresso &grinder

  • Milk frothing and latte art basics

  • Introduction to customer service and etiquette

  • Hygiene and safety practices in a coffee shop

Level 2: Intermediate

Program:

  • Advanced coffee brewing techniques: Espresso recipes and grind influence

  • Advanced milk frothing techniques and latte art

  • Espresso-based drinks: Cappuccino, Macchiato, and Americano

  • Customer experience management

  • Coffee tasting and pairing

  • Introduction to coffee roasting and its impact on the final taste

Level 3: Professional

Program:

  • Beginner brewing techniques: Aeropress, filter, chemex, etc...

  • Advanced latte art and milk texturing techniques

  • Advanced espresso-based drinks: Latte, Macchiato, Cappuccino, Flat white and Ristretto

  • Coffee cupping and flavor analysis

  • Introduction to coffee shop management: Inventory, staff training, and financials

  • Entrepreneurship in the coffee industry

 

Skills to achieve:

Essential:

  • Understanding the different types of coffee beans and how to select the right one for your coffee

  • Introduction to coffee brewing equipment and how to use them

  • Proper coffee brewing techniques and measurements

  • Basic latte art and milk frothing techniques

Intermediate:
